Artist's Description

The original painting was sold at an exhibit at the Artist Village Art Walk in Santa Ana, California in 2007.

My husband travelled in Cambodia years ago and brought home beautiful pictures of Apsaras that he saw carved on stone walls of Angkor Wat. An Apsara is a female spirit of the clouds and waters in Hindu and Buddhist mythology. Apsaras are beautiful, supernatural female beings. They are youthful and elegant, and superb in the art of dancing.
