What a beautiful trip this was! On one of the beautiful islands of the Philippines we found this local resort that has it's own local community within it's vicinity. Beautiful children and friendly people welcomed us and showed us some Filipino culture. The fish on this painting was brought onto the island by one of the local fishermen one day while we were hanging out on the beach watching boats coming ashore without any luck in catching fish. This last boat came with a enormous fish onboard. Everyone gathered around to check out the catch of the day.

Carol graduated with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts majoring in Advertising. While painting on her free time she worked as a Graphic Artist for MTV Asia in the Philippines, taught Expressive Arts at a Secondary School in Papua New Guinea and worked as a Layout artist for a Decal company and a Newspaper company in California where she now resides. Her love for travel is what inspires her to do art.
